Peracton SSIX (Social Sentiment Analysis)

Investment and trading professionals need accurate and clean financial data in order to find specific patterns. Such patterns give them indications about how various securities are being perceived by the markets as well as about their possible future evolutions and moves. With Peracton SSIX the users are also provided with a set of social sentiment parameters (or X-scores) that can be added and mixed with any other financial parameters for a better decision making process.

The following unique points differentiate our Peracton SSIX platform of any other competitors:

  • SSIX platform produces a continuous sentiment interval (-1,1) that is reflected in the X-Scores unlike other solution that are binary (negative/positive) or trinary (negative/neutral/positive).
  • It has an unlimited capability of producing any new X-scores based on the raw sentiment data unlike other solutions that do not offer this capability.
  • The existence of X-score factors adds a very strong analytics capability that can be used by other systems to capitalize on X-Scores and find new patterns derived from the raw sentiment data.
  • The multilingual capability gives an edge with regard to other solutions as it is in-build.
  • Customisable Sentiment Classification: such a modular approach allows easy plug-in, plug out of various type of classifiers, facilitating an easy adaptation from one domain to another, without really touching any other software component within SSIX platform.
